Pipe Elbows

  • Pipe Elbows

Pipe elbows are a specialized hydraulic component that is used to connect straight pipe or tubing sections. More specifically, pipe elbows are installed between two lengths of pipe to allow for a change of direction. These pneumatic components may be machined, threaded, or socketed. Depending on your application there are several different styles of pipe elbows that can be used.
  • Female pipe elbows – This hydraulic component connects fractional tubes to male NPT threads.
  • Male pipe elbows – This pneumatic component connects fractional tubes to female tapered pipe threads.
  • Street pipe elbows – This type of elbow has an internal thread at one end and an external thread at the other. It is intended to join a piece of pipe and another pneumatic fitting at an angle.
