Pipe elbows are a specialized hydraulic component that is used to connect straight pipe or tubing sections. More specifically, pipe elbows are installed between two lengths of pipe to allow for a change of direction. These pneumatic components may be machined, threaded, or socketed. Depending on your application there are several different styles of pipe elbows that can be used.
Female pipe elbows – This hydraulic component connects fractional tubes to male NPT threads.
Male pipe elbows – This pneumatic component connects fractional tubes to female tapered pipe threads.
Street pipe elbows – This type of elbow has an internal thread at one end and an external thread at the other. It is intended to join a piece of pipe and another pneumatic fitting at an angle.
