Orifice Restrictors

Orifice Restrictors are the simplest method of flow control. They work on the principle of Flow Restriction with the orifice diameter in pneumatic applications and pneumatic control circuits. Orifice restrictors are available for inline installation, barbed for compatibility with flexible tubing and can be encased for barbed fittings. UPC offers orifice restrictors in eleven color-coded sizes with brass and stainless steel options available.

Miniature Inline filters

Miniature inline filters remove most contaminate particles in compressed air systems. These inline filters feature a  chemical-resistant body and Dutch weave wire screen constructed from stainless steel to maintain a maximum pressure of 125 PSI. 316 stainless steel filters are available in 5, 25, 43, and 73 microns.

Miniature Filtered Orifice Restrictors

Miniature filtered orifice restrictors control flow in pneumatic applications. These restrictors provide low pressure drop and a maximum supply of 100 PSI. UPC has orifice restrictors with 316 stainless steel filters encased in molded polysulfone housings with sizes ranging from 0.00.4” to 0.030” with barbs for 1/16” or 1/8” I.D. flexible tubing. 

Miniature Preset Flow Control

Miniature Preset Flow Controls maintain a constant flow in one direction and full flow in the opposite direction. Miniature preset flow controls are available in 1/16 I.D., 1/8 I.D., 0.070 I.D. and 10-32 female port options with orifice sizes ranging from 0.012” to 0.040”. 

Miniature Check Valves

Miniature check valves permit flow in one direction only. Miniature check valves feature a low cracking pressure and a minimum differential for forward flow. Once flow has ceased, there is no residual pressure difference across the check valve. Pressures range from 0.08” H20 and 0.5 PSI to 5 PSI.

Miniature Needle Valves

Needle Valves are ideal for instrumentation and industrial pneumatic applications. The fine angle of the needle allows for the precise control of flow. These valves have a maximum pressure of 100 PSI and should be used with a 5 micron filter. Body material options include metal, nylon and polypropylene.

NEW ~ Filtered Intake

Filtered intakes provide a filtered entry for air, gasses and fluids. These valves provide a maximum pressure of 125 PSI and have a double barbed fitting for a 1/8" vacuum line and can be used in the following applications:

Relief Valves

A relief valve is a safety component which is used in pneumatic. These valves are designed to regulate the level of pressure within a system, preventing it from building higher than a pre-defined pressure. Air Logic’s [KF1] Relief valves open the input port to the exhaust port when a specific pressure differential (ie. setpoint) is achieved. A diaphragm provides area for pressure supplied from the input port to act against the spring force. When the force of the input pressure exceeds the spring force, the valve opens. The valve stays open until the input pressure drops below the setpoint.
 Two pressure ranges are available 0-10 PSI or 0-20 PSI.
